World Development Indicators
OfficialIn developmentThe World Bank’s World Development Indicators, an annual cross-country database. Used for Indonesia’s GDP growth, unemployment rate and annual consumer price inflation.
Methodology
Annual figures compiled by the World Bank from national sources and international agencies. GDP growth is at constant prices; the unemployment rate is the ILO’s modelled estimate, which follows international definitions and differs from the BPS headline rate; annual inflation is the change in the average consumer price index over the year, which the World Bank takes from the IMF’s International Financial Statistics.

Feasibility findings
Measured 10 October 2026
- Access mechanism
- Documented public APIA public API with published documentation and a contract we can rely on.
- Credentials
- Not required for the endpoints measured.
- Collection risk
- Automated access appears permitted and the mechanism is stable.
- Automated access
- api.worldbank.org/robots.txt (read 2026-10-10) returns HTTP 404 with a JSON body: no robots policy is published for the API host. The absence is recorded rather than read as permission; the licence is what permits reuse.
- Historical depth
- Annual series from 1960 for most indicators. The connector keeps about 25 years.
- Collection permission
- Established. The publisher’s published terms permit reuse of these figures, on conditions this site meets, such as naming the source. No separate permission was requested. Read the terms.
This is an engineering feasibility assessment, not legal advice. No authentication or access control was bypassed to produce it, and where terms could not be established the risk is recorded as unknown rather than assumed favourable.
Known limitations
- Annual figures, published six to ten months after the year ends: background, not news.
- The unemployment rate is a modelled ILO estimate and will not match the BPS headline rate.
- Recent years may be revised as national sources revise; revisions are recorded, not overwritten.
